Killer Outdoor Workout (CAPTAIN AMERICA WORKOUT!!)

If the sun is out, it may just be time to take your workout outdoors. In this video, I’m going to show you the Captain America Workout challenge that you can use as a killer outdoor workout option. All you’ll need is a single olympic plate and some space to throw it. That means, you can do this on any local sports field or even in the background.

To do this outdoor workout, you’ll select an olympic plate based on your weight. If you weigh less than 150 lbs then you will want to use a 25 lb plate. If you weight between 150 and 200 lbs then you’ll want to use a 35 lb plate. If you weigh over 200 lbs then you will want to use a 45 lb plate as our athlete demonstrates in the workout.

This outdoor workout uses explosiveness, total body strength, power and even some speed and agility.

It is important to load up the legs and all the hips to explosively rotate in order to not only generate the power needed to throw the plate far but to complete the workout safely. As I always say, if you want to look like an athlete then you have to train like an athlete. Try this killer outdoor workout and get a taste of training like an athlete is like!
